Blue Stockings SocietyWe're the Blue Stockings Society; a network of intelligent women who want to question the status quo. We hold intimate supper groups were we get together to talk about topics with experts to improve our businesses, health and home life. The name Blue Stocking Society comes from a women's informal social and educational movement in the mid 18th Century. We hope the ladies who started the society all those years ago would approve of a bunch of financially independent women doing it for themselves!

EventsWe hold events throughout the year covering different topics and interviewing local women in business. Normally held every month, we either have a intimate dinner evening, with no more than 17 women present, or a big blue stockings lunch with up to 40 women in business in Nottingham.
